Gosia:
Potem jedziemy dalej do miejsca gdzie lekko cieply strumyk laczy sie z goracym i mozna sobie znalezc odpowiednia temperature dla siebie. Potem jedziemy nad jezioro Rotowhero - duze, cieple, w niesamowitym, zielonym kolorze.

Andrew is going home today, but we decide to go for a bit together to discover few wild hot springs in Rotorua :) I bought a book 'Hot Springs of New Zealand' by Sally Jackson, which describes around 100 hot springs, where maybe half of them is wild, just in the nature, for free :)
So, first on our list is 3meters high waterfall. It's pretty hidden, lovely place, but the water was a bit too hot for me :) Then we go the junction of 2 streams, hot and cold. Most people swim where they mix together, bo for me cold one was much better :) This 2 first places are just up to 500m from the Waiotapy Thermal Area - very comercial place. Next place - the largest hot water lake in NZ with lovely emerald-green colour - I have never seen such a colour of the lake. Lovely :) What a surprise that almast no New Zealanders know about this place. 2km further the road, there is famous Karoseen Creek (famous among tourist, because it's mentioned in Lonely Planet :)). There are few little waterfalls and 'jacuzi' pool - looks very tempting, but again, it's too hot for us (it must be great in winter, when it's a bit cooler). I never thought of such problem that the water in the stream might be to hot to enter :) We didn't choose the best day for hot springs - it's one of the our hotest day in New Zealand as well :)
